MISSION STATEMENT

"To glorify God through vocal, instrumental music, dance and other worship arts presentations while leading the body of believers into celebrative praise and true worship through diverse Godly music." -Psalm 149:3

PURPOSE

To create, organize, coordinate, and participate in music and worship arts activities that will assist the Association. CMWA ensures that the appropriate musical representations are available at all major Association events. The commission is also a resource to member churches seeking information, advice or referral services relative to music and worship arts. In providing an atmosphere, which encourages and embraces a true worship experience, the commission seeks Godly discernment in choosing, playing, singing and presenting the right music in praise and worship according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. In doing so, we embrace three prerequisites: first, to glorify God; second, for God to speak to us; and third, for us to edify the body of believers.
